Day 1 - Arrival Day

One hour south of Tucson is the town of Rio Rico. There you will find the beautiful resort, Esplendor at Rio Rico If you arrive early enough you will have time to swim, play tennis or just relax. Your Cowboy guides will meet everyone at 6:00 p.m. in the resort lobby and head out for an orientation and WELCOME dinner at one of the area’s Mexican restaurants (tonight's dinner is included in the price). During the dinner they will answer any questions you may have about your upcoming horseback adventure.

Day 2

Today we will go on a morning ride to give you time to get to know your horse and give us a chance to get your saddle adjusted. We want to make sure you will be comfortable out on the trails.

In the afternoon you may do some sightseeing if you wish, but you will need to be ready to participate in our Rodeo Game night and BBQ at the stables at 5:00 p.m. This is one of the highlights of our trip. Guest will get to participate in Team Penning, Barrel Racing and other rodeo fun. Then sit around a warm fire; enjoy good food and brag about how well you did in the arena. Later, enjoy a hot shower and warm bed when you get back to the resort, tomorrow we head out on the trail.
