John Latham (Owner & Host) - Many years ago John came from his home in Manchester, England to Arizona on vacation. After riding and getting to know the area he fell in love with it and was soon returning every year. Now as the owner of Ride the West he spends as much time on the trail as possible. John enjoys the evening conversations around the campfires as much as the days in the saddle. Dan Skiver (Trail Boss)- Dan is a true cowboy. He has been a wrangler and guide since he was seventeen, working on ranches in Montana, Arizona, and Wyoming. Dan once made his living on the Pro Rodeo Tour as a saddle bronc rider. Raised in Arizona, his knowledge of the area is extensive, and his quick wit and stories always keep riders entertained on the trail as well as around the campfire. Melody Skiver (Head Wrangler) - Raised on a ranch in Wyoming, Melody is an exceptional horse woman. She grew up on horses and has tremendous insight on what rider matches what horse. Melody competes in local barrel races where she consistently wins top prizes. Melody will share her knowledge during our Cowgirl Only weeks, giving riding and barrel lessons. Stephanie Campbell (Marketing/Business Manager) - Stephanie is the detail person for Ride the West. Whatever your needs are, she will try and accommodate them. Stephanie will try to answer all your questions whether it's how many pairs of jeans to take, or how much beer to bring. Don't hesitate to call her. |
